Roy Hill represents the next generation of integrated iron ore mine, rail and port operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Roy Hill’s purpose built, world-class mine processing plant is the largest and most advanced single feed plant in the Pilbara and utilises low risk, proven technology to process 55Mtpa (Wet) of lump and fines iron ore.
Our Maintenance Department is currently looking to appoint an experienced Condition Monitoring Supervisor. Reporting to the Superintendent Maintenance, the role is based at the Mine working an 14-14 Dayshift only FIFO roster from Perth.
You will be responsible for the leadership and direction for the integration of the maintenance condition monitoring elements of the Mine Processing Fixed Plant and manage condition monitoring and predictive maintenance techniques inclusive of vibration analysis, thermography and non-destructive testing technologies with the aim of improving asset performance. Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:-
- Accountable for the safe execution of the Condition Monitoring weekly plan
- Develop and implement predictive maintenance processes and procedures, including the following technologies; Vibration Analysis, lubrication analysis, Infrared Thermography, Ultrasonics and Laser alignment
- Take corrective action if a significant deviation from the planned schedule or budget occurs
- Assists the Maintenance Planning team in the development of the maintenance strategy and tactics required to maintain and inspect the Process Plant
- Provide relevant information to leader, co-workers, teams and individuals (including in meetings, pre-start, tool box meeting, written communications, e-mail, via telecommunications and in person)
Oversee development and training of lubrication and Condition Monitoring personnel

We are seeking a self-motivated team player, with exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and influence others.
You will have previous experience in a similar role with SAP, MHM (Machinery Health Manager), CSI 2140 data collectors experience and an unwavering commitment to workplace safety.
To be successful in this position it is essential that you hold a current WA C class driver's licence, Engineering or relevant Trade certificate, Certificate 1, 2 or 3 in Vibration Analysis and have experience with lubrication best practices ideally within a large-scale Iron Ore Wet Processing plants or on Wet High Intensity Magnetic Separation (WHIMS) equipment. Complementing your professional experience, you will be able to demonstrate the ability to engage with both internal and external stakeholders through your strong written and verbal communication skills.
