Situated approximately 340 kilometres south east of Port Hedland, our world-class operation is the only independent iron ore business with West Australian majority ownership. With a defined mineralisation of more than 2.4 billion tonnes of high grade iron ore, enough to sustain a mine life of more than 20 years, Roy Hill is introducing a new wave of innovation, technology and knowledge to Australia’s iron ore industry.

 

‘The Real Us’
Roy Hill’s Perth-based integrated Corporate Headquarters and Remote Operations Centre (ROC) provides end to end integration of our operations, marketing and corporate services functions.  Our Demand Chain leadership team is now seeking a Senior Advisor Supply Chain Planning to join the team. This role is responsible for implementing a cross-functional integrated business planning process, and to control and report on Roy Hill demand and supply through all assets, warehouses, and production to meet customer requirements while minimising total inventory value.


Accountabilities will include: -

  • Manage the demand and supply process to most effectively achieve supply system objectives
  • Develop, implement, monitor, rectify and report on demand, supply, and inventory systems, policies, processes and procedures in cooperation with stakeholders
  • Regularly update the inventory policy and implement the inventory management guidelines
  • Monitor and control, in cooperation with maintenance, cataloguing and other stakeholders inventory technical data and information accuracy and contribute to continuous improvement in codification and cataloguing processes and data integrity in SAP
  • Ensure a rolling forward looking plan and inventory strategies are developed, monitored, adjusted and communicated on an ongoing basis
  • Collaborate across the supply system to ensure change management activities are captured to ensure availability while minimising obsolescence

For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, you will be an experienced supply chain professional along with the following: -

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in a supply chain planning or inventory management role
  • Demonstrated experience in supply chain planning optimisation tools
  • Sound skills in SAP Materials Management
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
