Roy Hill represents the next generation of integrated iron ore mine, rail and port ­­­operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. 'The Real Us’

Roy Hill’s Perth-based integrated Corporate Headquarters and Remote Operations Centre (ROC) provides end to end integration of our operations, marketing and corporate services functions. Due to recent internal movements to temporarily support other areas of the business, we are currently seeking applications for a Receptionist Business Support to join our team on a three (3) month fixed term basis with possibility of extension. Reporting to Supervisor Business Support, accountabilities will include:

  • Being responsible for a busy main switchboard for the business and delegating calls appropriately across sites;
  • Managing a busy reception area including welcoming & managing visitors including large groups and delegations, interfacing with various couriers & support contractors and providing overall assistance with employee enquiries; 
  • General office administration including providing assistance as required to the Superintendent Facilities Management.

For you to achieve outstanding results in this position, you will have previous experience in a similar Reception role and a genuine passion for delivering superior customer service. In addition, you will possess:

  • Ability to work in a fast-past, corporate environment;
  • Calm, professional demeanour and be an excellent communicator;
  • Strong organisational, time managements skills and similar experience in a corporate role.
